I enjoy the Summer Hummingbirds that frequent the many feeders I have around our house. The hummingbirds become quite bold in their freedom of flight as I sit out on our from porch. It is not uncommon to feel like I need to duck as they fly from tree to feeder breezing past my seat. I’m continued to be amazed at the constant battles the male and female hummingbirds fighting for position at the feeder.
It is with this interest in Hummingbirds that I have created Summer Hummer Barn Quilt. My latest American Garden Barn Quilt is a pastel colored Barn Quilt with blues and teal colors featuring a ruby throated hummingbird, feeding on a orange / yellow centered flower.
